Email capture

Collect fan emails directly from your smart links.

Why collect emails?

Streaming platforms control who sees your music. Algorithms change. Playlists rotate. But an email list is yours. You can reach fans directly for future releases, shows, merch drops, or anything else without depending on any platform's algorithm or ad spend.

Pre-save fans and Smart Link visitors are already interested in your music. Capturing their email while they're engaged converts a one-time click into a long-term connection.

How to enable email capture

  1. Open any Smart Link in the editor (click Edit on the link).

  2. Scroll to the Email Capture section and expand it.

  3. Toggle it on.

  4. Click Save Changes.

That's it. The email field appears on your link page immediately. The field shows alongside the streaming platform buttons. Fans can enter their email and choose a platform in the same visit.

Where emails go

Collected emails appear in the Subscribers tab on your Smart Links page. Go to Smart Links in the dashboard nav and switch from the Links tab to the Subscribers tab.

Each subscriber entry shows:

  • Email address

  • Date they subscribed

  • Which Smart Link or pre-release campaign they came from

For pre-release signups, the fan's platform preference is captured too, so you know where they plan to listen.

Exporting your list

Export all subscribers as a CSV file from the Subscribers tab, then import that file into your email tool: Mailchimp, ConvertKit, Loops, Beehiiv, or any platform that accepts CSV imports. The CSV is the handoff; NotNoise does not push subscribers into other tools automatically.

Tips

  • Enable email capture on your highest-traffic link. More visitors means more signups. Check your link analytics to find which link gets the most traffic.

  • Combine with Pre-Save pages. Pre-release visitors are your most engaged fans, and on most platforms the signup flow already collects an email along with the fan's platform preference.

  • Mention the email signup in your posts. "Drop your email for early access to my next single" gives fans a reason to fill in the field.

  • Keep the value exchange clear. Fans need to know why they're giving you their email. Early access, exclusive content, or tour announcements work better than a generic "subscribe."

Plan requirements

Email capture is available on Pro, Max, and Team plans.
